Zoo

It is summer time; months have past so quickly that we did not even realized!

We had a very good day in the "gradina zoologica" and we had the chance to say HELLO to the animals from Bucharest! They had beautiful colors, moreover the kids liked them a lot.

Buzau

9 of April we visited these awasome volcanoes.

The road was steep and tough, but we all together managed to climb to the top. It was our first outing as volunteers and we enjoyed it a lot! We did picnic in the countryside and we came back.

Promoting EVS in Schools.

Is the second time and we hope it will be more. They are so involved and interested in what we do and tell.
Is a good oportunity to learn from each other and show a new way of travelling, helping others and growing as a person: this experience as EVS.
We make some plays with them and also we explained them what is EVS, why we choose it and how to become a volunteer. We had a lot of fun toguether! :D

DRUMS SHOW!

Finally after some months preparing and receiving classes of Drums, we make our show for the children.
They had a lot of fun, they dance and sing with us. Now they are all the time asking for the next one.
It was a great experience to learn and perform all the songs we create toguether. And the best feedback, their smiles :D

On arrival training!!

It is one of the best things from EVS. You just arrive to new country and you have the chance to meet a lot of new people from all over the world. The training is very usefull to clarify yourself in many things, prepare yourself to this adventure and enrich with new cultures and ways of thinking!
A lot of fun and great experience! after you can travel arround all the country and you have friends everywhere :)

How to become a EVS volunteer

My experience as a EVS.

"When I was admited in this proyect I couldn´t believe... I was sure that it was going to be fantastic.

Once I have been here  for five months I have to say that it really lived up to my expectations.

Thanks to this experience I have meet interesting people from all around the world, I visited a lot of new places and the most important thing: I am growing as a person.

We work in a house where live girls with disabilities, and, altough is a challenging involvement sometimes, it absolutely worth it when you see them SMILING."
